Model Pendidikan Islam Inovatif di Era Society 5.0: Studi Implementasi di Pesantr en Ummul Quro Putri Pamekasan

This study aims to formulate an innovative Islamic education model relevant to the challenges of the Society 5.0 era through an implementation study at Ummul Quro Putri Islamic Boarding School in Pamekasan. Society 5.0 demands the integration of advanced technology with human and spiritual values, including Islamic principles in the educational sphere. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method, involving observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation of teaching practices and institutional strategies. Data analysis was conducted thematically to explore the patterns of Islamic educational innovation in the context of digital transformation and 21st-century skills. The findings reveal that Ummul Quro Putri has developed an innovative Islamic education model consisting of five core components: (1) integration of Islamic values and digital technology, (2) strengthening Islamic digital literacy, (3) contextual project-based curriculum development, (4) involvement of the pesantren community in educational innovation, and (5) an evaluation system based on spiritual reflection and digital competencies. This model is grounded in the philosophy that Islamic education aims not only to transmit knowledge but also to transform students’ character to become adaptive and resilient in the face of rapid change. The findings indicate that pesantren can serve as agents of educational transformation, harmonizing Islamic values with modern technological demands. This model offers both theoretical and practical contributions for the future-oriented development of Islamic education.
