Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to examine how learning materials at MTs Miftahul Ulum Congkop Karangpenang Sampang implement the objectives and content of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. To gain a deep understanding of the curriculum development process and its implementation in educational materials, this study used a qualitative methodology with a case study design. In-depth interviews with PAI instructors and madrasah administrators, learning observations, and analysis of lesson plan (RPP) documents, teaching modules, and curriculum were used to collect data. To maintain data validity, data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using triangulation techniques. The research findings indicate that the objectives of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum, which emphasizes a balance between cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, are established by referring to national education goals, the madrasah's vision and mission, and student needs. Although the synchronization content is compiled methodically and contextually, its use in open materials has not been fully optimized, especially in terms of improving the affective and applicative aspects. This research shows that, despite the well-designed objectives and content of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum development, improving teachers pedagogical competence is crucial for successful curriculum implementation in the classroom.
