Strategi Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam Mencegah Kekerasan Psikologis di MTs Miftahul Qulub Polagan Pamekasan

This study aims to analyze the guidance and counseling strategies for preventing psychological violence at MTs Miftahul Qulub Polagan Pamekasan and to formulate a preventive model based on child-friendly Islamic schooling. Psychological violence in madrasah settings is often overlooked, despite its serious impact on students’ emotional well-being and academic achievement. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the most prevalent forms of psychological violence are verbal bullying, social exclusion, and excessive academic pressure. The guidance and counseling strategies implemented include preventive approaches through value-based education, curative approaches via individual counseling with a humanistic framework, and developmental approaches through character-building programs rooted in local religious values. Based on these findings, a Preventive Guidance and Counseling Strategy Model for Child-Friendly Madrasahs is proposed, consisting of three main pillars: value-based education, collaborative intervention, and the strengthening of a positive school culture. This model is designed to foster a safe, empathetic, and religious learning environment through synergy among educators, parents, and the local community. The study contributes both theoretically and practically to the development of responsive guidance and counseling services that address psychological violence and are rooted in the cultural and religious context of Islamic education. It also supports the implementation of child-friendly madrasah policies as a core component of an inclusive and equitable education system.
