Upaya Meningkatkan Prestasi Siswa Dalam Mata Pelajaran Fiqih Melalui Pendekatan Aktif Dan Kontekstual Di Mi Nahdlatun Nasyiin Bungbaruh Kadur Pamekasan

The process of teaching and learning activities using methods that are appropriate to the material is a must for an educator to achieve learning objectives, if the appropriate method is not used, students' interest in the learning process is lacking as has happened so far, so this study was conducted to improve student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects through the application of an active and contextual approach at MI Nahdlatun Nasyiin Bungbaruh Kadur Pamekasan. Based on the results of initial observations, it was found that student learning achievement in Fiqh lessons was still relatively low. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observation of student activities, and interviews with teachers. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning achievement after the application of an active and contextual approach. In addition, student involvement in the learning process also increased, marked by higher enthusiasm and participation. Thus, the active and contextual approach has proven effective in improving student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects
